Thank you for joining the Jonah Plan and becoming an Apostle of Reconciliation.
Jonah Plan Prayer
Lord, we pray for an increased devotion to the Sacrament of Confession. May we, our family, friends and fellow parishioners be renewed through reconciliation with you. May we come to recognize your abundant Love and Mercy for us and for the whole world. We ask your blessings on all priests who, though the ministry of the Church, offer Christ's gift of Mercy to all, for all time.
There are two ways to become a member of The Jonah Plan:
First, sign up as an individual and get emails sent to you directly.
Second, sign up as a parish-based prayer group. The leader of the prayer group would be the intermediary with The Jonah Plan apostolate, responsible for distributing monthly information to their fellow prayer partners. Parish-based groups are a beautiful way to affect the culture of your particular parish. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
If you choose to form a prayer group, please ask your pastor for permission. To help with this, we have created a document to begin the conversation.
Either view the document by clicking the button below or contact us if you have further questions.
"...What counts most is to make people understand that in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, whatever the sin committed, if it is humbly recognized and the person involved turns with trust to the priest-confessor, he or she never fails to experience the soothing joy of God's forgiveness."
Pope Benedict XVI
We are on a mission to remind others of the beauty of the Sacrament of Confession as an authentic experience of God's mercy.
We create resources for groups to form within Catholic parishes centered on prayer that all may experience God's mercy in the sacrament of confession and no matter what's happen, begin anew.
